Close to transport (bus or subway). Very cozy location, with a few great places for eating, drinking and having fun. I recommend to rent a bike and go to the loop via the bike path next to lake Michigan at least once. Awesome ride!

We had a private room with shower: Large room, very clean, quite at night. Quite nice breakfast compared to other motels we stayed in during our US trip. Free washing machine and dryer.

This hostel is very clean. No foul smell. Breakfast is ok. Not many high paying hotels offer complimentary breakfast, so I commend this Hostel for it. The staff are cordial. There is a vending machine onsite that uses only cash. And the cash has to be single dollar bills ($1) This was quite strange for someone who lives in the UK. Thankfully, the receptionist helped me to change my $20 bills to single ones.

The staff were very nice and were very helpful, the breakfast was good, the location was nice, liked how they had extra parking in the back, they let us check in early and upgraded the size of our room for doing so.

Location was great. Near bus and train stops, located in a great neighborhood with lots of restaurants and amenities. The room was very basic: a bunk bed, table, chair and lamp. The bed was comfortable enough, though. There was no bathroom in our room, but the shared bathrooms were very clean. Breakfast was disappointing. The first morning, there was bread (sandwich type), waffles, eggs, cereal, coffee, tea (nothing fancy, but OK) and bananas. The second day, there was no bread at all, and no fruit. The rest (cereal, eggs, etc.) was more or less the same. I think they could have done better.

The hostel was in a decent neighborhood. I appreciated the affordable option of renting a double room. I thought the bed was comfortable and liked that the room had a ceiling fan.
